The focus of this blog is to present commonsensical ideas and practices for all the arts of communication, especially reading, writing, listening, and speaking.  I believe communication skills have deteriorated in America, because of the rise of social media and the everpresent cycle of news that overwhelms our abilities to understand information, assess its value, and use it rationally.
