The focus of “Seminar in a Sentence” is to present ideas and wisdom gleaned from the great philosophers and writers of the past and present, as well as thought leaders and others in recent years who have made contributions to our understanding of the human condition.  I may even choose a tyrant or two to use as an example of thinking on the dark side.  Typically, I will select a one-sentence quotation from their writings as the title for the post and then expand on it for what it means for today’s world.

The idea for this blog came from Mr. James Rohn who used this phrase in one of his audiotapes.  Mr. Rohn was perhaps the greatest thought leader in the field of personal development during the late 20th Century and early 21st Century.  I dedicate this blog to his memory.
