Why Would Anyone Vote for Joe Biden?

Why would anyone vote for Joe Biden? For the life of me, I cannot think of a single reason or argument to vote for him. Conversely, I can think of ten reasons not to vote for him. Here they are.

The Top Five Reasons Why I Will Not Vote For Joe Biden

Joe Biden has been in politics for almost 50 years. He has been pickled and steeped in the political nonsense that pervades Washington, D.C.

Joe Biden has used his political connections to enrich his family.  The Hunter Biden episodes in Ukraine and in China are two examples.

Joe Biden was Mr. Obama’s vice president for eight years, and he did absolutely nothing to balance or mitigate Mr. Obama’s extremely leftist agenda or his many violations of constitutional authority.

Joe Biden has flip-flopped on so many political issues that it is impossible to assess what he stands for or believes in. In simple terms, he is a political animal of the worst kind.

Joe Biden appears to be in the early stages of dementia. On many occasions, he seems incoherent in his public comments and is prone to make communication gaffes that are socially and politically inappropriate or unacceptable.

The Second Five Reasons Why I Will Not Vote For Joe Biden

Joe Biden lacks the gravitas of a serious leader. He is a typical political hack and a ward heeler of the old school. He is a back slapper and a glad-hander who bends with the political wind.

Joe Biden is stuck in a macho mindset much of the time in his public interactions with voters and people in attendance at his political rallies. He challenges male voters to compete against him in push-ups or fisticuffs, and he uses inappropriate language when responding to female voters who challenge his political stances.

Joe Biden is a known plagiarist and has been economical with the truth regarding his background, his educational record, and his political career and experience.

Joe Biden has never been a man of serious ideas or a profound thinker. Moreover, while he was a U.S. Senator, he never proposed any legislation of value or substance that was in the best interests of America.

Joe Biden never took a stand, in his eight years as vice president, against the various Obama Administration programs and policies that contravened American values and principles.  I refer here to wrongheaded (and to my mind illegal) programs such as Fast and Furious, spying on American citizens by the NSA, the weaponizing of the IRS against political groups on the right, wiretapping journalists, the Iran deal, and, finally, the targeting of Lieutenant General Michael Flynn.

Let me now shift gears and state why I am voting for President Trump in November.

Just Two Reasons Why I Am Voting For President Trump

I am voting for President Trump for two simple reasons.  He loves America, and he accomplished more in three years as president than did the four presidents who were in office for 28 years combined before him: Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, and Obama.  All four of these men were lifelong politicians and have never done much of anything, except for politics.

President Trump accomplished most of what he promised, all the while fighting against the political establishment, as well as the media, entertainment, and education establishments.  In simple terms, President Trump gets things done.

Would someone tell me what mr. Trump has accomplished since he has been in office?

      Val,
President Trump has kept more of his campaign promises than any president in my lifetime. Let me briefly highlight 12 accomplishments or improvements that he has either initiated in the Executive Branch or asked the House of Representatives to initiate legislation.
      1. Tax reform, with the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
      2. Reform of the criminal justice system, with the passage of the First Step Act.
      3. Allowed the U.S. military to defeat ISIS, and approved the elimination of Bagdadi and Suleimani
      4. Recognized that illegal immigration must be stopped with a physical barrier on the southern border, and began construction of a much-needed wall.
      5. Replaced NAFTA (a terrible piece of legislation) with the USMCA Trade Agreement, which established a much better version of trade reciprocity.
      6. Caused the Executive Branch to eliminate or re-write the tangled web of regulations that choke small businesses. Having started two restaurants in Reno, Nevada, I have experienced first hand the waste of resources and money that local, state, and federal regulations cause.
      7. Nominated and had approved two justices to the Supreme Court.
      8. Got the Federal Government out of the way so that America could become energy independent. Energy independence is a strategic imperative that should have been put in place years ago.
      9. Confronted China and began trying to level the playing field economically and financially. In my opinion, the four previous presidents put their heads in the sand because they were politicians first and leaders second. By the way, China is an existential threat to America and they continue to fool us at every turn. President Trump is correct in his assessment of China.
      10. Challenged North Korea and then tried to negotiate with Kim Jung Un. Again, in my opinion, the four previous presidents put their heads in the sand because they were politicians first and leaders second.
      11. Tried to re-engineer Obamacare. He successfully eliminated the insurance mandate. Obamacare ranks in the top five worst pieces of legislation ever passed in this country: remember the Affordable Care Act constituted over 2,700 pages of bureaucratese.
      12. His policies and political stances set the stage for the economy to grow and to reduce unemployment to the lowest levels in 50 or 60 years.
      13. Tried to fix DACA and was rebuffed by the Democrats and the Republicans.
      14. Got America out of the Paris Climate Accord, which was a smoke-and-mirrors exercise that was not practical or effective because it allowed China and India to move forward with their coal-fired and gas-fired electricity-generating plants.
      15. Forced the nations in the EU to pay their 2% of GDP contribution to the NATO budget.
      16. Voided the Iran deal, which was another smoke-and-mirrors exercise that Mr. Obama snookered the U.S. Senate and the American people with.
Politics is a very dirty business, and, in my opinion, our political system is broken. President Trump is an outsider, and he is hated and disparaged because he has broken the “rice bowl” of the ruling class which is made up of the Democrat and Republican Establishments, the special interest lobbies, the globalists, and the military-industrial complex to name just a few of the usual suspects. All these entities play hardball. They will do everything they can to prevent his re-election.
From my vantage point, I will make this prediction: No Trump! No America! It is that simple.
I hope this response is helpful to you.

Andy, I appreciate your taking the time to explain what Mr. Trump did. I couldn’t get this info from anyone I know. The NEWS media isn’t publishing this info. I’m copying it and keeping it around so I can explain it to my friends. I’m a mechanic, and I don’t read, I don’t seem to have the time. All I Know is what I see on TV and the Internet.
My Best to you Andy, keep up the good work.

      Dear Val,
As my father used to say, don’t mention it. We must all do our share. Being a mechanic is nothing to be ashamed of. America was built by men just like you. My father was a self-employed mechanic of sorts, he repaired cashier machines, coin counters, and sorters. I was proud of him and he gave me a great legacy of his thought and behavior.
In my opinion, this great nation is in jeopardy. I have lived and worked in seven different countries and traveled to another 50 or more other countries. By far, America is the most exceptional because of our foundational principles and values: self-reliance, self-government, the rule of law, the separation of powers, consent of the governed, personal freedom, and so much more. America is great because America is good and the American people are the most generous people on the face of the earth.
Val, you are a good man. I often regret that I did not get to know and appreciate so many of my classmates at St. Madeleine Sophie.
      Stay well and stay strong,
      Andrew
