Here are my personal scorecards for the 2020 Election: one scorecard for President Donald Trump and one for former Vice President Joseph Biden. I can break these scorecards into into three sub-headings: Background, Political Behavior, and Political Accomplishments. I will cover Mr. Biden first and then President Trump.
Former Vice President Joseph Biden
Background: Mr. Biden was 66 when he became the Vice President in the Obama Administration and, when he left office in January 2017, he was 74.
Mr. Obama chose Biden over a long list of other candidates, including Senator Tim Kaine (Virginia) and Senator Evan Bayh (Indiana). He brought some foreign policy credentials to the table but little else. His career as a U.S. Senator from Delaware from 1973 to 2009 comprised little to no major legislative accomplishments or other concrete examples of political gravitas.
Political Behavior: I will highlight three on-the-record instances of Mr. Biden’s political behavior during his 47 years as a politician. He served as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. First, the confirmation hearings for Judge Robert Bork in October 1987; Mr. Biden was 44 at the time. Second, the confirmation hearings for Judge Clarence Thomas in September/October 1991; Mr. Biden was 48 at the time. Finally, the questioning of Ms. Anita Hill regarding Judge Clarence Thomas. I encourage my readers to watch the YouTube videos of these various hearings. Important Reminder: Past behavior or performance is an excellent predictor of future behavior or performance.
Political Or Policy Accomplishments:
My Assessment: I wrote a blog post on Mr. Biden in which I identified 10 reasons why no one should vote for him for president. Let me just list the top five reasons I set forth in that blog post.
Joe Biden has been in politics for almost 50 years. He has been pickled and steeped in the political nonsense that pervades Washington, D.C.
Joe Biden has used his political connections to enrich his family. The Hunter Biden episodes in Ukraine and in China are two examples.
Joe Biden was Mr. Obama’s vice president for eight years, and he did absolutely nothing to balance or mitigate Mr. Obama’s extremely leftist agenda or his many violations of constitutional authority.
Joe Biden has flip-flopped on so many political issues that it is impossible to assess what he stands for or believes in. In simple terms, he is a political animal of the worst kind.
Joe Biden appears to be in the early stages of dementia. On many occasions, he seems incoherent in his public comments and is prone to make communication gaffes that are socially and politically inappropriate or unacceptable.
President Donald Trump

Looking forward to seeing what you have to say about our President
Concur 100% on your Biden comments
Thank you for your kind words.
