The purpose of this blog is to provide an open forum for me to write on many diverse topics that differ in focus or content from the other thirteen topics in the hub.  I borrowed the Peanut Gallery designation from the Peanut Gallery made famous by the Howdy Doody television show in the 1950s.  I used Thoughts from the Peanut Gallery as the subject line in many email messages that I have sent to friends over the years.
